November 28

The Grej of the day was the Pamplona Bull run. As this is a very dangerous event where people can get very seriously hurt, we watched a child appropriate version featuring inflatable bulls which can be seen here from about the 10 minute mark.

The clue for tomorrow is stumping quite a lot of students:

Hey,
Um...
MAN, what's a cool idea for a grej of

The day?
Owls?
Wigs?
Elephants in
Robes?
Sausages?

Today we went to the library and Ms. Neufeld was so impressed by how quite and well-behaved we all were. We came in appropriately, selected our reading books and started to read. Many of us were sharing our books with our friends. The library was amazed by our awesome behaviour. Great work, Grade 3!

In P.E. with M.Trevor we continued to practise our volley shots with our partners. We worked on finishing our letters to the soldiers. I will be posting them tomorrow after school. Please ask your son or daughter if they finished their letter. If they did not finish and they would like to send a letter in English and in French, please work on it at home to bring in tomorrow. I have envelopes and can provide the address in class.

In English we read a tale about a cow who mooooved ( sorry) to New York to become a ballet dancer. We also wrote short stories to practise our phonetics. The sound we chose as a class was the OG sound.
