Thank you to all the parent volunteers who came and helped with ice skating today. We started the day using spoons in music and then came back and then thought up some ideas for our Carnaval parade. We settled on ' our favorite films' and spent the afternoon making masks, placards and posters. In science, we looked at the Aye Aye, a nocturnal animal from Madagascar that uses percussive foraging to hear where it's prey is.
In Math, we learnt about matrices and we then created equations for them. We started some comprehension questions about the final chapter of The Iron Man.
If you forgot your skates, please bring them tomorrow so that you can join in the fun. Please also make sure that you have warm clothes for tomorrow as we will be doing a lot of outdoor activities as part of Carnaval.
Tomorrow's theme is : Toques.
Ask me: What is unique about Aye Ayes? How do they hunt?
