Today's GOTD was the dodo. Monday's clue is :
'A famous St. Bernard dog shared my name in the movies... now that's music to my ears. '
Today we had choice and curiosity day in which students signed up to have teachers read a story of their choice. We had a math assessment with Madame Moreau and we practised using our editing checklist to enhance a story that we wrote on the board. We then reread the story and chose more exciting adjectives, verbs and adverbs.
We played a quick round of a spelling game using our whiteboards and wrote in our journals.
If you have still not brought in your red reading folder, please bring it in on Monday.
Mr. Richardson is going to be running a Spanish class every week between 12-12:40 (approximately) every Friday. Siblings are welcome to attend but students must have a way to get home as the busses will have already left. I am flexible on the ending time, but students must be picked up before 1pm due to a weekly staff meeting. Anyone interested is asked to email: parichardson@cbe.ab.ca so that I can track attendance numbers etc. We will be starting in the new year.
The library has requested that no more library books be checked out past December 11th to ensure all library books are returned before we break up.
