Dec 9

Today's GOTD was Beethoven.
Tomorrow's clue is " What do you mean there's no giant chocolate eggs there?"

Today in Math we did a Math Pacman and we worked on la ligne numérique. In science we had a visit from a doctor who talked to us about how doctors can use sound to diagnose patients. He showed us how to use a stethoscope and we listened to our hearts and lungs. We learnt how doctors can use sound to see babies, the inside of hearts and can tap on people's bodies to listen to trapped air or fluids. We also learned about our reflexes in our knees and we tested Hannah.

We played some phonics spelling and math games and we started to read:  Mes Voisins les pirates.

We worked on finishing off any unfinished worked including our social studies hearts, our letter and our phonics stories. We used our checklists to ensure we had adjectives and adverbs and that our verbs were a bit more exciting.

Tomorrow is a library day. As mentioned in the last blog post the library technicians are eager to get all books returned before christmas. Please ensure books are brought back in your plastic bags that were handed out last week. Please let me know if this plastic bag has not made it's way home. This bag is to try and help reduce some of the damage we have seen to our reading books lately.
