Today I learnt about Skrímslis in ELA, a creature from Iceland. I learnt how to say "Thank you" (Takk) and "Bye" (Bless) in Icelandic. This was fun because we got to talk about lava and volcanos which we have been looking at in Science.
I also learnt different way to represent numbers in Maths.
I was curious about the biggest plane in the world and will look it up at home for discussion in class tomorrow.
Ask me to describe a Skrímslis and ask me how volcanos stopped flights between North America and Europe.
Reminder that Terry Fox run is on Friday and also I am to bring my letter for M. Richardson by Friday.
