Today I learnt the story of Shi-Shi Etko, a First Nation girl preparing to go to residential school. We discussed orange t-shirt day.  Orange t-shirt day is on Monday.

Whilst I ate my lunch, we watched a video on dogs and all the amazing things they can learn to help humans out such as opening doors and even alerting the emergency services. I learnt that dogs can learn the sound of their owners engine and footstep pattern to know when we are going to be home.

I used the iPads to set myself a goal for the Terry Fox run tomorrow.
Reminder: I need to dress warmly for the weather for the Terry Fox Run (in layers and in safe outdoor shoes to run in rather than winter boots or rain boots). If it is snowing or raining lightly, we are still running outside. (If weather is unsafe, we will be inside.) I also need to bring a pair of dry socks to change into afterwards.

Ask me what would I put in my memory bag.
